What is a chakra?
Essentially you can think of a Chakra as an Energy point within the body. Chakra is a Sanscrit word which translates as Wheel. A Chakra is a wheel-like spinning sphere that moves in a circular motion. This causes a vacuum to be formed in the center. That vacuum draws in everything related to its particular frequency.
The human body has seven main Chakras. These energy fields form a pathway, aligning with the spine, and vibrating at different frequencies. We are connected to each Chakra on several different levels: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. Focusing on one of these energy fields is an intense form of meditation, and allows you to keep your Chakras balanced and in sync.
All the Chakras are interrelated, and If any Chakra is out of balance, it can lead to problems with one or all other Chakras. A Chakra can become out of balance by being over-active, under-active, or possibly blocked. If any of the above applies, you will be able to feel it on a mental, emotional or physical level.
Each Chakra presents us with the opportunity to establish a balance to certain aspects of our lives. Healing and balancing your Chakras will lead to a path of true enlightenment where a form of self-realization can occur.
